The Neurosciences Institute is located at: 10640 John Jay Hopkins Drive San Diego, CA 92121 right off Interstate 5 at the Genesee Avenue exit. San Diego Shakespeare Society presents a staged
reading of MONDAY NOV 24th at 7:30pm WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH The Shakespeare Society is thrilled to be joined by renowned actress Kandis Chappell in this, probably Shakespeare's last play. Chappell, fresh from this year's Shakespeare Summer Season at the Old Globe will team up with her once drama teacher, Jack Winans, who will direct her in the challenging and luminous lead role of Prospero at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Point Loma. Winans continues his tradition of directing staged readings from audition to performance in under a week. In the last two years, for the Society, he has directed Richard III and Much Ado About Nothing under the same set of pressures. "It's such a fun way to work," says Vanessa Dinning, the Society's Artistic Director. "Shakespeare's actors sometimes had less time to get their show up and running. It keeps our actors on their toes and keeps the work fresh and alive." Auditions are to be held at the church on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th November, rehearsals are on Nov 20th, 21st and 22nd and the performance will take place on 24th November in the Sanctuary at Westminster Presbyterian. Suggested donation $10, SDSS members free Contact for tickets: Vanessa Dinning, Artistic Director A Festive Feast with Shakespeare’ s friends!Prepareth ye for the holidays
